SAS Tapes was founded in 2022 in Karachi, Pakistan, with a single clear purpose to manufacture garniture and suction tapes that the tobacco industry could truly rely on.
Our History
It started not in a large factory, but with a deep understanding of materials, machines, and what precision really means on a production floor. The Team Lead and Quality Inspector, a Textile Engineering graduate from NED University of Engineering & Technology, one of Pakistan’s most respected technical institutions, brought with him hands-on expertise in yarn spinning, fabric construction, and technical textiles. That foundation wasn’t accidental. Garniture and suction tapes are, at their core, engineered textile products. Knowing the fiber, the weave, and the mechanical behavior of a material under continuous high-speed tension is exactly what separates a tape that lasts from one that fails mid-shift.
From that starting point, SAS Tapes grew into a focused manufacturer serving cigarette and filter machine operators across the region, supplying endless garniture tapes and suction tapes compatible with all major machine brands including Hauni, GD, Molins, Sasib, Protos, and more.
Today, operating from Karchi, Pakistan, we combine local manufacturing capability with technical knowledge that most suppliers in this space simply don’t have. Every tape that leaves our facility is built to perform, consistent dimensions, correct friction, reliable air permeability, and the durability to keep your line running.
